  • Notes: Welcome to ARt Salon, the second AWE Nite LA event of 2019. The focus of the Los Angeles chapter of AWE Nite is to showcase and elevate local companies and creators who are leveraging Augmented technologies in exciting ways. This month we showcase LA based artists that are incorporating Projection Mapping and the spectrum of XR technologies into their artistic medium. We are excited to display the creative works of LA based artists Bill Barminski (Beyond The Streets, Spatial Reality), Nancy Baker Cahill (LACMA, Spatial Reality), and Daniel Leighton (Getty Museum, SLOMA) at the historic Rita House. The artists will also participate in individual lightning interviews discussing the place Augmented technologies plays within their artistic creations.
